Bell Tower of Xi’an

Located at the very center of Xi’an, the Bell Tower is the city’s iconic landmark and a symbol of its historical prestige. Built in 1384 during the Ming Dynasty, it once marked the geographical and cultural center of ancient Chang’an.

The wooden structure with its green-tiled roof is remarkably well-preserved. From the top, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the four main streets radiating outward — a layout that has guided Xi’an for centuries.
