Standing at the heart of southern Xi’an, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a towering symbol of Tang Dynasty scholarship and Buddhist devotion. Built in 652 AD to house sacred scriptures brought from India by the monk Xuanzang, the pagoda represents faith, culture, and the city’s historical prestige.

Nestled in the historic alleys of Xi'an, Yongxing Fang is the city’s premier destination for authentic Shaanxi cuisine. Unlike the more touristy Muslim Quarter, Yongxing Fang remains rooted in local culture, attracting both residents and discerning food lovers.

Here, the scents of biangbiang noodles, roujiamo (Chinese burgers), and spicy cold noodles fill the air, blending with the lively chatter of vendors and locals. Beyond the food, narrow alleys reveal traditional architecture, ancient wells, and small courtyards — giving a glimpse into the city’s living history.
 

Located at the very center of Xi'an, the Bell Tower is the city's iconic landmark and a symbol of its historical prestige. Built in 1384 during the Ming Dynasty, it once marked the geographical and cultural center of ancient Chang'an.

The wooden structure with its green-tiled roof is remarkably well-preserved. From the top, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the four main streets radiating outward — a layout that has guided Xi’an for centuries.
